We have a trailer!

Thanks to a generous donation, we have a trailer! This item has been a tremendous blessing to us in the short time we have had it, and it will also help us do work in the future.

SHSU Offensive Lineman at Restore

We would like to thank the Sam Houston State University offensive linemen! They mowed the yard, moved furniture into the office and dormitory! They are a GREAT bunch of guys!

Drywall is almost complete!

We have been working hard o the drywall. It is almost complete! Special thanks to WA Electrical for doing the electrical work for us!! Also to Walker County Kitchen and Bath for doing the plumbing!! 

The outside of the dorm is finished!

Work continues...

Work continues... We are working on the exterior trim this week. We hope to be ready for exterior paint by this weekend! 

Getting the Word Out

We were at a restorative justice conference today. We had a ministry booth there and were networking with other like-minded ministries. It was a wonderful day of relationship building. The host, Eagles Nest Ministries, is starting a ministry similar ministry to ours and they are very established in recovery ministries already. They have a 16 acre property with plenty of building space as well.

The Roof is Finished!

The roof was finished today. The House of Hope guys and volunteers worked many hours to make the house close to straight and replace all of the roofing and much most of the trim near the roof line. With it done we will begin the outside trim so we may paint before the rainy season.
